Welcome from the Headteacher |

Welcome to the Hatherden CE Aided Primary School website. We are a friendly and exciting learning community, with a passion for providing the very best opportunities for all our pupils. Founded in 1725, and developed through Victorian and 1990s building programmes, the school accommodation was completed in 2004, with a superb pair of Key Stage 2 classrooms, a purpose built computer suite and a wonderful main hall. Our beautiful external environment is constantly being enhanced, with most recently a gazebo and quiet zone, and the on-going efforts of our pupils’ Gardening Club. Internally, we strive to offer an inspirational and engaging atmosphere, and are totally committed to developing the involvement of all our children in both their learning and the running of their school. Our parents, staff and governors combine powerfully to support pupil progress, and our terms are always packed with activities, during the normal school day and in out-of-hours clubs, covering a huge range of interests.
Please enjoy visiting our website and gaining a stronger picture of what we are about, and do feel free to contact us on 01264 735260 if you would like to arrange a visit to our school. We are always delighted to provide a personal tour and let you share the special experience of life at Hatherden School.
